FAQs

How do I get from the Airport (ACE) to the Hotels?

In the summer months, the airport taxi lines can get quite long. We recommend booking a hotel airport transfer ASAP.

How do I get around Lanzarote?
We will provide transportation to the wedding events, however if you'd like to make your own schedule while staying in Lanzarote, we recommend using a private taxi or renting a car. If you plan to rent a car, please note that automatic cars limited on the island. *Uber/Lyft is not available.

If you are renting a car and need a parking spot at the Hotel Fariones, please email them ASAP to reserve a spot before you arrive: info@hotelfaroines.es. Alternatively, you can park on the surrounding streets. Please note parking is limited, especially in the summer months.

What are our top recommendations in Lanzarote?
Our wedding will capture the beauty of Lanzarote's diverse landscape: the beach at Hotel Fariones, the  vineyards at Bodega Stratvs, and the geological wonder of Jameos del Agua. If you have time, we also recommend you:

  • Take a tour of Timanfaya National Park to discover the unique volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote

  • Hike around the Volcán El Cuervo

  • Walk down the streets of the town of Teguise

  • Check out the Green Lake- El Golfo

  • Take a 35-minute ferry to the island La Graciosa

Tour: For those interested, Hotel Fariones is offering a guided tour of the south of the Island--Timanfaya and El Golfo. Pick up at the hotel at 9:00 a.m., arriving back at the hotel at 2:00 p.m. Price €50 per person.

  • Email info@hotelfariones.es Subject: Dailo & Scott Guests

  • Reservations can be confirmed from now until 20 June.

Will there be food and drinks at all events?

Are there places nearby to go out on Thursday and Friday nights after the events?

  • For those interested, we will be going out to Vino+ on Thursday and Route 66 bar on Friday, about a 10 minute walk from Hotel Fariones.

What do I wear?

  • Welcome Drinks:  Casual (e.g. Jeans, T-shirts are fine)

  • Rehearsal Dinner: Semi Formal/Dressy Casual-  (e.g. dress shirt and slacks for men; dressy skirt and top for woman)

  • Wedding Ceremony: Formal (e.g. suits for men; dresses for woman). Please note: This is a cave floor so please do not wear heels.

Lanzarote can get very windy, so we recommend women to bring a light shall or sweater for the evening.

Why should I avoid wearing heels at the Wedding?
Jameos del Agua is a stunning venue and truly a geological wonder, you will all love it! But it is also a cave and the ground is uneven in some places (examples below). We recommend wearing flat shoes, or wedges.
